A fountain inspired in Rock and Roll

Hard Rock Hotel architectural fountain, Cancun

The concept Hard Rock Hotel is immediately associated to a culture always related to a music that arouses passions, but also to the aesthetic and literary atmosphere that revolves around it. The Hard Rock Hotel Cancun (Mexico), a top-class business located in a stunning environment, needed to welcome its clients with a look according to the rock and roll philosophy. And what better way to do it that by installing a spectacular architectural fountain, shaped like an electric guitar and with a great contemporary style… Read More

Positive cooperation

The firm that Hard Rock Hotel hired to accomplish the project and the architectural fountain installation contacted Safe-Rain, as they considered our company to be the perfect supplier to provide cutting edge materials and all the support they should need. Thanks to the cooperation between both companies and to the amazing environment that constitutes the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, the outcome measures up to the greatest music stars.

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun

The excess and glamour that rule rock stars’ lives are perfectly mirrored by the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun. Located at the famous Mexican beach, the resort mixes with the landscape but standing out at the same time. The awesome architectural fountain that welcomes the visitant joins the fresh swimming pools, the happy open-air bars and the sea views to make up a striking resort. Otherwise, Cancun’s beauty is already legendary – a place that looks to the Caribbean Sea and to the Nichupté Lagoon, and that reminds us of the presence of millenary cultures in nearby places such as Chichén Itzá, the unforgettable stone city located in the Yucatan Peninsula.

A complex and impressive project

The project determined that the architectural fountain should be in front of the hotel’s main entrancestrong>, providing the clients a full sight of the design from the rooms’ windows and terraces. The installation demanded a singular feature, as it was required that the fountain’s relevance would be enhanced by the presence of vertical color-shifting water jets. These jets should appear and disappear, just like the strings of an electric guitar. A risky project that led to the best performance.

Innovative elements

Sea LED ring for architectural fountains In order to fulfill the specifications required to build the Hard Rock Hotel architectural fountain, Safe-Rain provided all the necessary elements. Among them we can highlight the lance jet nozzles, the RGB illumination system composed of LED Crowns (“SEA” Model, 21W RGB), a series of quick-acting submergible electro-valves with stainless steel body, and a control panel with a PLC and RGB controller that can offer three different water and light shows, already uploaded in the system.

The training bonus

Special mention must be made of the added value provided by the training that Safe-Rain gave to the installation company. The people in charge of designing and performing the Hard Rock Café project received specific training at our company’s modern facilities in Toledo, Spain. The course imparted provided the assistants with the information and practice needed to dominate the materials and systems that Safe-Rain can offer, and this way obtain the best outcomes in projects like this. Original and different, the Hard Rock Café architectural fountain with Safe-Rain technology adds to Cancun’s thousand attractions, offering a great and contemporary show.
