When we believed that almost everything had been said and done in water use as a decorative element, emerged a new expression of this concept; someone came up with a water "printer". Somebody thought to combine water and gravity to create amazing effects, letters, logos, graphics, etc. Basically, what we call "digital water curtain" is that. A spray ring of a certain length, in which series of water outlets, which through almost instant response solenoids, are drawing with water all those characters that are programmed in a software that manages the opening and closing of the valves. Simple, isn't it?

As I said before, from my point of view is simple. I will explain the components included in a facility of this type so that we all agree on the simplicity of the installation.Read More

Floating Fountains - Cacade JetAeration is the transfer of oxygen from air into water. All healthy bodies of water need oxygen for the normal biological cycle. In large bodies of water, this occurs naturally as a result of wave action. In smaller lakes and ponds, it is easy for biological factors to become unbalanced, causing the oxygen levels to drop, making it necessary for mechanical aeration. Insufficient aeration and low oxygen levels can cause fish kills, unpleasant smells and unsightly water.

Floating Fountains - Cacade Jet Without sufficient circulation, a pond becomes stratified with warmer water on the surface and colder, oxygen-depleted water on the bottom. Lack of oxygen increases the anaerobic (without oxygen) decomposition of the sludge at the bottom. That increases nutrients in the pond, which, in turn, increases algae blooms. An uncirculated or non aerated pond or lake develops a thermocline. This is a stratification of the water by temperature.Read more

Energy savings in Architectural Fountains

First, it should be clear that, contrary to popular belief, a lot of water is not lost in the operation of an architectural fountain, due to replacement of water lost by evaporation or spray. They work on a closed circuit, and once the tank or surge tank is full, the water we see moving (jets, waterfalls, etc.) comes from the same place to which it returns. However, to minimize the already low consumption of water in an architectural fountain, the following measures may be adopted: Read More
