Ball Joints
Ball joints are used to achieve the desired inclination of water jets in an architectural fountains; on occasions the installation of hydraulic components does not achieve the vertical orientation or the angle necessary for the fountain nozzles to operate correctly. Articulated joints correct the outflow angle so that vertical water jets can be achieved or parabolas adjusted.
There are three types of articulated joints:
- 360º around an axis and 19º crosswise to this axis.
- A sphere or ball type that allows fountain nozzles to be perfectly adjusted to vertical, or parabolic water jets to be achieved
- Adjustable flange type. Less volume and weight but less angle of inclination.
